Mitch Stewart
A long-time Barbershop Harmony Society member and a life-long Danville, VA resident, Mitch sings in many musical groups, including Homeward Bound with Brian, Kirk and the Stewarts, and Alliance. He is an active member of North Main Baptist Church. Mitch teaches fifth grade in the Pittsylvania County Public Schools at Brosville Elementary. He and his wife, Debbie, have two sons, Aaron and Adam. Mitch, our Irish (actually Sappony Indian) tenor, once worked as a cemetarian, but gave that up because school kids are a more lively audience.
Larry Kellogg
Larry is a long-time Barbershop Harmony Society member, with experience as a chorus member, Assistant Director (Colorado Springs, CO), and Musical Director (Martinsville-Danville, VA). He is a member of the Heart of Carolina barbershop chorus in Durham, NC. He sang tenor with The Pastor's Choice quartet in Colorado Springs and he sang lead in the Executive Session quartet with Mitch from 1986-89. He and his wife, Linda, have two grown children, Kathy and David, and are the proud grandparents of two Boston Terriers named Sebastian (a.k.a. Sabby) and McFarley (a.k.a. McFarley).
Brian Buchanan
Brian began singing and playing gospel music at a very young age. In his early teens he began singing and playing with his first gospel trio. In his late teens he played piano for his first gospel quartet, The Royal Heirs. God has blessed Brian with a talent for and love of Christian music that has been a part of his life and ministry for Jesus Christ to this day. Brian is a full-time keyboard player for church, and on occasion has the pleasure of singing gospel music with Mitch Stewart and his beautiful and talented wife Debbie.
Dave Minnich
Dave has been singing for most of his life. From grade school (where his claim to fame was being part of a children's choir that performed with the Carpenters... all together now: "ooo... ahh..."), until the present day, Dave has sung with over 15 groups in 6 different states. He discovered barbershop in 1995 and has been hooked ever since. Formerly a member of the quartets City Market and Pyramid, both top-ten finishers in the Dixie District of the Barbershop Harmony Society, Dave is the quartet's newest member, singing Bass.
